I do accounting and this poem was sent to one of our invoicers today.
A totally perplexing problem for only a wizard to solve.
Numbers don’t match
Figures don’t correlate
Finances are mystifying
Policies baffling
Excel can’t even fix this disarray
You…..
Are my only hope.

Having spent three careers in financial management, this gave me a great chuckle. I hope this invoicer appreciates a gift of welcome creativity wrapped in humour. Now I wonder… what would the stats say if bill collectors took this sort of approach?
